David Lynch’s book on meditation is quite good, a very simple, interesting read.
I’ve experimented with a few forms of meditation, and find Vipassana very effective.
still, creativity, drawing, making music, seem to be the best form of meditation for me.
I find the simplest forms of meditation (concentrating on breath, not holding onto or judging thoughts, etc.) very inspiring and therapeutic.
Usually a little bit of meditation can put me right back into a mild hallucinatory
sort of state, and I find it to be a healthy alternative to taking psychedelics all the
time (which is not to say there is anything wrong with taking psychedelics all
the time
