Debut Dem Hunger in the works from the collaborative efforts of Leaving Records & Friendship Bracelet 1st quarter 2010.

Austin Peralta’s ‘Cecilia’

I kept hearing about this young jazz prodigy. My homie Thundercat, told me about his young kid who could play like piano like Chick Corea. Turns out that Dr. Strangeloop and him are good friends. I had to investigate and see what was up. All the things I heard are pretty much true.

We’ll be releasing Austin Peralta’s ‘Endless Planets’ sometime early next year.

last weekend was the opening of my first “solo” exhibition in Chai Wan (HK),
I finally took out the paintings i’ve been working on for about a year along with some drawings and a selection of brainfeeder shows posters from L.A to Korea…
We had a great time in this dope spot surrounded by buildings, suspended highways, mountains and other stuff…
Thanks to everybody who made it there, here’s some of the few pictures taken during the night for the rest of y’all!

Birthday Jam in Echo Park

In celebration of Flying Lotusâ€™s birthday, ArtDontSleep put together another heavy impromptu jam session in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles. This 30 minute take from the jam session features some heavy hitter producers and musicians, including Flying Lotus himself, Exile, Shafiq Husayn (SA-RA), Stephen â€˜Thundercatâ€™ Bruner (Erykah Badu, SA-RA), Miguel Atwood-Ferguson (Suite for Ma Dukes), Computer Jay (Master Blazter) and many others.

Also, many of these cats will be featured on the upcoming CMJ Showcase on October 21st at Crash Mansion. Homeboy Deluge will be attending and might keep you guys up to date about whatâ€™s poppinâ€™ in NY. Check out the sick line-up on the flyer. TOKiMONSTA – RBMA 2010

The results are in, and another member of the Brainfeeder family, TOKiMONSTA, has been chosen as a participant for the upcoming Red Bull Music Academy in London 2010. She will now be included as another member of Brainfeeder RBMA alumni along with Flying Lotus, Samiyam, and Teebs.

Toki is so psyched about her RBMA acceptance that she wanted to give away a track for download to all of our listeners, her remix of Tweet’s “Call Me”
