Sounding more fun and filthier than ever, the conceptual work spans the alphabet (twenty six tracks with many familiar guests) sampling you-know-who through an experimental hip-hop lens that is unique and absurdly organic. Noisy nuances from the beautifully demented Dem Hunger dream-state. Just in time for Halloween, a soul song for his car named “red Susie”. Dem elaborates : “Dusted up radio with busted sounds spinnin’ around. Hope Susie doesn’t drive me into a big wall”. Debut Dem Hunger in the works from the collaborative efforts of Leaving Records & Friendship Bracelet 1st quarter 2010.

Oscar McClure – Augusting

Introducing the organic improvisations of new Brain-Feeding friend, Oscar McClure. “Augusting” is a sampler of the tentatively untitled debut on Leaving Records, due late November 2009. Recorded with instruments, and abstracting the Roland SP303‘s standard usage as a recording device, Oscar McClure is a sonic eco-system of post-jazz, contemporary hip hop drumsters on a camping trip, and the avant garde compositions of mnortham and Jeph Jerman.
